| Usage: | Application： For organic synthesis and pharmaceutical industry: (1) An intermediate of drugs, it is an important raw material for the manufacture of sulfadiazine, sulfamethazine, sulfamethazine and folic acid. (2) Used as intermediates in medicine, pesticides, dyes and other organic synthesis. It can be used to synthesize 2-aminopyrimidine, 2-aminopyrimidine-6-methyl pyrimidine and 2-aminopyrimidine-4,6-dimethyl pyrimidine. It is the intermediate of sulfadiazine, sulfamethazine and sulfamethazine. Guanidine hydrochloride (or guanidine nitrate) reacts with ethyl cyanoacetate and cyclizes to 2,4-diamino-6-hydroxypyrimidine for the synthesis of folic acid, an anti-anemia drug. It can also be used as an antistatic agent for synthetic fibers. (3) An intermediate in organic synthesis; as an antistatic agent for synthetic fibers; as a powerful liquid separator for protein denaturation and subsequent refolding. （4）Strong chaotrope for protein denaturation and subsequent refolding. This potent denaturing agent dissolves insoluble or denatured proteins such as inclusion bodies. Can be used as a first step to renature a protein or enzyme into an active form.
